Ugggg ... I hate when the time changes [espcially in the Spring!]

YouTube: Daylight saving time is the practice of setting the clocks forward one hour during the spring and back again in the fall in order to take advantage of natural daylight. It has both benefits and negative consequences. This video helps you understand all of them.

How about we observe saving time, but everyone gets the day off and no one has a heart attack, car accident, nor write ups from asshole bosses? If you can't get the day off, bosses are legally obligated not to shit on you.

You have now. DST is awesome. I love having an extra hour in the evenings. I can go for a bike ride, meet up with friends, have a bbq.

Quite frankly, I'd keep it all year.

Figures National Geographic would make this. I don't know anyone nor have I met anyone that says "I like DST"

Instead of changing the clocks, just change "normal" business hours back 1 hour and keep it there, so instead of 9-5, it's 8-4. One place I worked I had the hours of 7-3 and I loved it. I got off work and had plenty of daylight to get things done.

not sure what you mean "keep it all year" but I think it means you like one part but not the other so in the end your "meh"

What do you mean "one part"? There's only one part to DST.

"Daylight saving time (DST) or summer time is the practice of advancing clocks during summer months by one hour so that in the evening daylight is experienced an hour longer, while sacrificing normal sunrise times."

Jesus, do I really have to explain this?

You advance your clock by an hour DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.

DST is the *change* from your standard timezone. Otherwise you wouldn't touch the clocks all year. There's no "winter time". That's just the end of DST.
